But you don’t have to wait until Christmas Day to hear the bells.

The 11 members of the bell choir at the Lake Arrowhead Community Presbyterian Church invite you to their annual holiday concert on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 4 p.m. The choir is under the direction of John Grady.

This free concert – the choir’s gift to the community – will begin with “White Christmas” and conclude with the rousing “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day.”

In between the ringers will play “O Come O Come Emmanuel,” “Angels from the Realms of Glory,” “The Shepherd’s Song,” “Masters in the Hall,” “Silent Night” and “Still, Still, Still.” Some songs will be run on the handbells, others will feature chimes.

Following the concert, there will be a reception with refreshments. Take this opportunity to chat with the ringers about the various techniques they will demonstrate.

The church is located at 351 South State Highway 173, just above the entrance to Lake Arrowhead Village.
