Rim Family Services moved mountains to make its “Mission: Possible” at its inaugural gala, held May 3. The agency’s first fundraiser event was a success; many walked away with renewed knowledge of, and faith in, the many services provided by Rim Family Services. Programs range from suicide prevention and therapy services to addiction recovery support, older adult services, school supports and substance abuse prevention.
Rim Family Services is funded by grants, the San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health and private sponsorships. Because programs are offered free to the communities it serves, it must also rely on fundraising. The Mission: Possible gala served as another funding resource to ensure services can remain at no cost.
“We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support shown at our inaugural fundraiser gala,” Executive Director Joscelyn Field said. “The energy, generosity and shared commitment to our mission made the evening truly unforgettable. We’re excited to build on this momentum as we continue making a meaningful impact in the community.”
Rim Family Services Board Chairman Heather Dominguez touted Rim Family Services during the event, noting the passion of the agency’s employees and their program achievements, and the backing of community members. “The RFS team did a great job of coordinating a fun and successful evening,” she said. “It was a great event and we were so touched by the community participation and support.”
Rim Family Services wishes to thank its many donors, sponsors and attendees for ensuring the success of the event and the organization. The agency intends to make this gala something to look forward to annually.
