Chamber members and guests scurried from business to business collecting stamps to be entered in the raffle.
The Lake Arrowhead Communities Chamber of Commerce mixer held at Kuffel Square on July 22 had members and guests scurrying from one business to another.
Their goal? Collect stamps from those businesses on their Bingolike cards. The completed cards were entered in a raffle for a variety of prizes donated by many of the businesses.
One of the fun aspects was the member acting as a crossing guard on Highway 18, stopping traffic to allow those attending the mixer to safely cross the street to get to LouEddies Pizza and Rosalva’s from Littlebear Bottleshop, Basecamp, Evergreen Curated Goods and Skyforest Tools and Antiques. Other local businesses such as SkyPark at Santa’s Village, the Mountain History Museum and Rim Family Services had tables with representatives sharing information about their businesses.
It was an evening of business owners mixing, mingling and celebrating community together. There were of course snacks, fruit and cheese trays, popcorn and desserts, with wines and other beverages. But most of all it was another opportunity for the business owners of the Lake Arrowhead Communities Chamber of Commerce to get to know each other and discuss how to complement each other’s businesses for the benefit of all.
The chamber of commerce office is located inside the visitors center at Lake Arrowhead Village. Call them at (909) 336-1547 for more information.
