It’s that time of the year: time to satisfy your taste buds with a Girl Scout cookie. But you’ll want more, so head down to your favorite neighborhood supermarket where girls are selling them and grab a box, No, make that a bag full of boxes of your favorite Girl Scout cookies.

Let’s see now, which ones do you like the most? I like the Thin Mints (yum, yum) and my wife likes the Tagalongs. You’ll want to tag along with her because there are nine delicious varieties of Girl Scout cookies to choose from, such as Trefoils, Explorers, Danish Butter-Pecan Cookies and Danish Butter Cookies, Do-si-dos, Lemon-Ups, Royal Dansks and the all new Adventurefuls.

When 9-year-old River was asked where she has traveled, she shared that she had gotten a nice tour of Goodwin’s Market and the Lake Arrowhead fire station, where she was able to take a first aid class. Asked whether she had gone hiking, 10-year-old Fletcher, a student at Valley of Enchantment Elementary School, said she had hiked around the Lake Arrowhead golf course.

Mom reminds everyone that the cookie sales typically run for about six to eight weeks, nationally, between January and April, but that the exact start and end dates vary by local council.
