Last Friday, these two Registrar of Voters workers – in an official vehicle and with proper ID – emptied the ballots out of the box at the Running Springs library. They cleaned the boxes and secured them against tampering and the predicted rain. They said they emptied the ballots at least every other day and would continue to do so up to Election Day. The men said they felt great pride in being charged with this job.
