Deputies from the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to a report of a male having sexual relations with a female juvenile.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 17-year-old juvenile female, had sexual relations with David Zimmerman, 29, a resident of Lake Arrowhead, on several occasions. Zimmerman also gave the victim numerous drugs and alcohol during these relations. Deputies also learned Zimmerman’s friend, Phillip Durham, 22, a resident of Crestline, also had sexual relations with the victim.
Deputies served a search warrant at a residence in the 27000 block of Alpen Drive in Lake Arrowhead and obtained evidence related to the investigation.
Zimmerman was arrested for PC 288(C)(1) – lewd acts with a child; PC 261(A)(3) – rape of a drugged victim; PC 287(B)(1) – oral copulation of a person under 18; PC 647.6(A) – annoy/molest a victim under 18; and PC 272(A)(1) – contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Zimmerman was booked at Central Detention Center in lieu of $300,000 bail.
Durham was arrested for violating PC 288(C)(1) – lewd acts with a child; and PC 287(B)(1) – oral copulation of a person under 18. Durham was also booked at Central Detention Center in lieu of $50,000 bail.
