VOE (Fraud Credit Application) Fir Ln – Yesterday, 12/25/23, at approximately 5:00 p.m., RP used inside card reader to purchase gas at the 7-Eleven in Crestline – at approximately 5:05 p.m., RP got a notification from his bank of a $500.00 transaction on TikTok – RP has no TikTok account and reported it to bank – no one has access to his account or debit card – RP canceled card 

CRL (Runaway Juvenile Report) Altdorf Dr – Daughter ran away from location at 2:00 p.m. – unknown where she may have gone – daughter does not have phone – is using mushrooms, acid, marijuana and has been drinking – daughter had reached out to go to rehab home – deputy was told RP was going to look into it

LAA (Vehicle Burglary) State Hwy 18 – On 12/26/23 about 2:30 p.m., victim parked vehicle on shoulder of Hwy 18 – about 10:10 p.m., victim heard his vehicle alarm go off – victim walked to vehicle and noticed driver’s side window smashed – victim returned to workplace to notify law enforcement – about 10:27 p.m., while in front of workplace, victim observed a black Scion drive by and parked behind his vehicle – unknown subject(s) exited Scion and rifled throughout his vehicle – victim stated subject(s) stole three pickleball paddles, a phone charger and a box of sour patch kids – victim estimated stolen property to be $100.00

CRL (Follow Up) Boa Dr – No answer at door

CRL (Lost Property) San Moritz Dr – On 12/25/23, RP and family were at Lake Gregory – RP left for walk around 4:30 p.m., leaving bag behind with family – RP returned to family around 4:50 p.m. – bag was gone – RP and mother searched for bag and were told by visitor that someone was calling his name – RP assumes they found bag and tried locating him – no purchase attempts on debit card – cards were put on hold – bag was black H&M cross body containing his black wallet – bag contained, keys to his 2005 Toyota Matrix, wallet, house keys, $200.00, Wells Fargo debit card, Step Bank card, AAA card

RSP (Vandalism) Hilltop Blvd – 10 days ago – truck drove off with gas nozzle still attached and caused damage to the property – surveillance available – RP checking surveillance for vehicle license plate – no driver description – unknown direction of travel – vehicle was navy blue, approximately 1995, Silverado extended cab – driver wearing yellow reflective vest over blue sweatshirt, black hat with black sunglasses – driver drove off with fuel nozzle in truck – once it broke, driver stopped, exited vehicle and returned damaged nozzle to pump – failed to notify employee to exchange insurance info/pay for the damage – driver returned to vehicle and left station – employee provided last invoice for same type of damage which was $1,404.72 to repair

RSP (Fraud/Forged Check) Summit Dr – RP had someone get into his bank account and drain it of about $10,000.00 – credit union is aware and working on it – on 12/18/23 unknown subject(s) deposited fraudulent check – $1,500.00 was withdrawn from account – copy of fraudulent check obtained – pending follow-up

CPP (Possession of Controlled Substance) Mozumdar Dr/Bone Dr – Vehicle check of van parked on Mozumdar – contacted suspect who stated van belonged to him – suspect stated there was a meth pipe in vehicle – during search of vehicle, meth pipes and white crystalline substance were located in vehicle – suspect admitted under Miranda the pipes and white crystalline substance belonged to him – arrest made

CRL (Theft by Fraud) Crest Forest Dr – subject was scammed $282,000.00 – investigation ongoing pending –  subject providing documentation

CRL (Follow Up) Crest Forest Dr – Allegations unfounded

LAA (Assault with Serious Injuries) Hospital Rd – Patient’s knee is broken – says he was hit by someone, but wouldn’t give any info or where it occurred – patient didn’t want it reported – RP says they need to report it due to the injury – patient is in ER at this time – approximately one hour ago, at the Crestline skatepark, patient was assaulted by a male with a 40-ounce beer bottle – patient did not want to disclose who assaulted him – deputy observed swelling to right eyebrow – had a laceration – patient felt he had broken ribs and a fractured orbital

TPK (Registrant Register) Twin Peaks Station – No Report

CRL (Graffiti over $5000.00) Lake Dr – San Bernardino Police Department transfer – white male adult is in parking lot of credit union – yelling and screaming, walking back and forth – shaking poles – unknown if high or drunk – RP saw two white male adults in front of the Arrowhead Credit Union – subjects were disturbing the peace – possibly went physical – RP heard one of them mention a knife – none seen – RP can hear three males fighting – says one walked away, but other two are still fighting – RP states white male adult walked by incident location and shattered the window – unknown what he used – did not see a brick or anything around – RP states he sees deputies – will attempt to make contact – RP requesting contact from deputy, said she wants to press charges – RP is owner of the business – subject 1’s knife left with neighbor at subject’s request

CRL (Found Property) Forest Shade Rd – RP noticed bike leaning against business wall a few days ago – no one came to claim bike – RP wanted to contact law enforcement in case it was stolen – bike taken to Twin Peaks Station to be entered into property and evidence for found property

CRL (Fraud Use Credit Card) Forest Lake Dr – RP observed a gray sedan with black rims in front of her Bronco while she was out with dog – RP believed the person was there to visit a neighbor – when RP looked over, lights in her Bronco were on and gray Sedan drove off – RP did not see driver of vehicle – RP realized she left her wallet inside of the vehicle which contained her debit card – unknown subject made several transactions on the card before it was blocked – unable to obtain video from locations where card was used – pending additional follow-up

LAA (Vandalism) State Hwy 189 – Subject 1 and subject 2 were drinking alcoholic beverages at the Cadillac Cowboy bar in Lake Arrowhead – subjects were intoxicated – asked several bar patrons where they could buy cocaine – bar owner became aware of subjects questioning and asked them to leave the bar – while leaving the bar subject 2 threw a beer bottle at victim 2’s head, but did not cause any injury – subject 2 spit in victim 1’s face – subject 2 then took a stance with what victim 2 believed to be a knife in his right hand and challenged victim 2 to a fight – once subjects were escorted out of bar, subject 2 used a stanchion to break a display window belonging to the Cadillac Cowboy bar – subject 1 threw to the ground, and stomped and kicked a five-foot Santa Claus figure – bar’s owner, victim 1, values the replacement of the window at $200.00 – the Santa Claus figure at $400.00

TPK (Warrant Arrest) Rose Ln – RP not at location – states her tenant is moving out today, but believes she heard other subjects at location – RP says that if subject 1 is not there then no one should be – requesting deputies check – subjects inside, not coming to door – making entry – one uncooperative – unable to confirm how many detained – residence is clear

LAA (Miscellaneous Incident) Lake Resort Rd/Villa Way – Subject and her three children are staying at the Arrowhead Resort – subject claims two older boys were following her three children, harassing them and brandishing a knife – prior to deputies’ arrival, children were sent to her friend’s house because they were scared and unavailable for deputy to contact – will call back during the week – is requesting a female deputy speak to her children – deputy contacted the two older boys – they claim they were walking and their path was blocked by the other three children – the youngest child brandished a plastic butter knife and chased the two boys several times – the young boy dropped the knife, one of the older boys picked it up and discarded it – the plastic knife was recovered

CRL (Vehicle Burglary) Geneva Dr – At approximately 3:00 a.m.-4:00 a.m., unknown subject(s) broke victims window to her vehicle, which was parked on the street – victim states the only thing taken was $20.00 in cash – while on area check, deputy observed another vehicle on Jungfrau Dr with a broken window – victim did not know it was broken – said his purse was stolen with his ID card – no suspect leads at this time – will follow up for video 

CRL (Attempted Burglary) Lake Dr – Unknown subject(s) broke front door window of business – behind the door was a metal security screen that was undamaged – no entry was made to the business and nothing was stolen – no cameras were attached to the business – an area check discovered no other cameras in the area – damage to the window is estimated at $500.00

SKY (Death Investigation) State Hwy 18/Willow Rd – Deputy went out for shed on fire – subject was found inside – confirmed deceased – Forest Service on location – coroner on location – coroner took possession of deceased

CRL (Vehicle Burglary) Bernard Dr – At approximately 5:00 a.m., subject heard a loud noise from outside his window – he believed something fell inside the residence, but did not check outside – at approximately 7:00 a.m., subject went outside to see the vehicle driver’s side window smashed – a garage door clicker, house keys and loose change were missing – attempted to contact neighbor with a camera – will follow up

 CRL (Vehicle Burglary) Bergschrund Dr – Between 12/30/23 at 11:00 p.m. and 12/31/23 at 9:30 a.m., unknown suspect(s) broke driver’s side window – log book and registration card were missing – deputy left business card for victim to forward any video they find – nothing was heard in the area between times given

CRL (Petty Theft) Lake Dr – Transfer from CHP – subject went to laundromat on 12/30/23 at approximately 8:00 p.m. – he left the business to go to work – when he returned at approximately 10:30 a.m., his clothing was no longer at the business – approximately $300.00 worth of clothes

January 1, 2024

ARB (Female Spouse Abuse) Cougar Ln – Subject and victim have been dating for two years – had been drinking in Arrowbear – the two began to fight over infidelity accusations – victim grabbed subject’s cell phone hitting him in the head causing him to bleed – subject pushed victim – victim had a seizure – subject forced victim into car and they left driving to Apple Valley – victim’s cell phone was tracked – victim called dispatch several times – updated her location and advising she was being assaulted – a deputy from Apple Valley made contact with victim confirming the abuse and had medical transport victim to hospital – subject left the scene prior to deputy arriving – a warrant for subject was authored and submitted – victim sustained scratches, bruising, swelling to her face and a large contusion to her right eye

CRL (Petty Theft) Scenic Dr – Between 12/31/23 at approximately 12 a.m. and 1/1/24 at approximately 8:00 a.m., unknown subject(s) stole a small brown leather bag which contained a wallet and cards, and an orange diaper bag from both vehicles at location – both victims state they left vehicle unlocked – credit cards/debit cards were stolen and used – victims canceled both cards prior to deputies’ arrival – negative video surveillance located

CRL (Petty Theft) Venus Way – Between 12/31/24 at 7:00 p.m. and 1/1/24 at 11:00 a.m., unknown subject(s) entered victim’s vehicle and stole his registration, AAA card and a dump receipt – negative video – no suspect leads 

CRL (Vehicle Burglary) Jupiter Ln – Victim provided deputy with video of incident – vehicle seen was only vehicle seen on camera – video footage showed a white male adult in a silver sedan drive next to driver’s side window and open the door – vehicle sustained a broken window – no items stolen

CRL (Vehicle Burglary) Venus Way on 1/1/23 at approximately 3:30 a.m., a white male adult in a silver sedan was seen inside the victim’s vehicle – vehicle was left unlocked – no items were stolen – victim provided video

ARB (Fraudulent Use of Credit Card) Hilltop Blvd – Mother’s wallet was stolen while at location earlier – unknown how it was stolen – unknown if left or dropped – RP’s credit card was in the wallet – states unknown subject(s) made charges at board shop near location – mother and RP at location for report – card was used at Leroy’s – no other transaction done

RIM (Warrant Arrest) State Hwy 18/Pine Ave – Suspect was contacted at incident location – found to have an active felony warrant – in possession of heroin and methamphetamine – arrest made – was seen at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center prior to booking – booked at West Valley Detention Center

January 2, 2024

LAA (Found Narcotics) Hospital Rd – Emergency Room – RP is hospital supervisor – requesting deputy pick up crack pipe and bag with white substance – RP has no way to dispose of the items

CRL (Driving with SUS/RV License) Lake Gregory Dr/San Moritz Dr – Stopped for out tail light and expired registration – upon record check, suspect was driving on suspended/revoked license – suspect had outstanding misdemeanor warrants – suspect was cited – vehicle towed – suspect arrested and transported to CDC – suspect was booked on misdemeanor warrants – teletype entered
