CRL (Burglary) Basel Dr – RP calling back in reference to earlier case – advising she is inside residence and requesting deputy assistance – sometime between 4/30/24 at midnight and 7:00 a.m., unknown subject(s) entered the residence by force – subject(s) forcefully opened the safe and took eight guns – five rifles and three handguns – no video footage of incident

VOE (Warrant Arrest) VOE Mobile Home Park – Suspect was arrested on his warrant – booked into WVDC without incident

LAA (False Pretense) Old Toll Rd – On Sunday 4/29/24, RP received a phone call from what she believed was the US Bank fraud department – subject on the phone convinced the RP to provide her online username and password to her debit card account – the RP also sent her debit card by mail to the subject – subject also convinced the RP that her California Bank and Trust was being used by means of fraud – subject convinced the RP she needed to take out $20,000.00 cash – RP put the money in a bag and gave it to what she believed was an Uber driver in San Bernardino

TPK (Warrant Arrest) State Hwy 189/Balsam Ln – Subject was found in the roadway – records check found he had an active warrant – arrested and booked at CDC

CRL (Assault) Delle Dr – Subject was at the RP’s residence to assist the RP’s roommate with moving out of the incident location – RP told subject she was not welcome at the residence – subject told the RP she was helping her friend move and was invited by the RP’s roommate – RP attempted to close the front door on subject as subject was entering the residence – subject has her right hand on the door assuring it would not close – subject stated the door swung open and her open palm accidentally slapped the RP in the nose causing it to bleed – RP stated she had cancer and any traumatic incident could be very bad for her medically – RP desired assault charges – did not feel it was an accident – subject apologized multiple times trying to explain the accident, but the RP refused to listen – RP was photographed and will be following up the doctor’s office at a later time – parties were separated – report taken to be forwarded to the DA’s office

CRL (Driving W/SUS/RV License) Manzanita Dr/Lake Dr – Vehicle check showed the owner had a suspended license – vehicle was seen driving west on Lake Dr – driver was found to have suspended license and an active warrant – driver was issued citation for driving with a suspended license and released – vehicle was towed by Don’s Auto – teletype sent

CRL (Driving W/SUS/RV License) Lake Gregory Dr/San Moritz Dr – Driver stopped and found to be on active probation – vehicle search negative – driver cited and released

CRL (Assault) Lake Dr – RP’s son has had an ongoing issue with subject’s daughter – his son was walking past subject’s residence when subject and her two daughters exited their residence – the three knocked the RP’s son’s hat off his head – his son stated he was hit approximately six times in the back of the head by the three before he could run away – RP desired prosecution against subject for being an adult who put hands on his son – subject was unable to be contacted – will need follow-up tomorrow to get her side of the story – all subjects are separated – juvenile did not have any marks or need for medical attention

CRL (Driving W/O License) Old Mill Rd/Short Way – Vehicle was seen driving with its right headlight and license plate light out – records check of the driver found he was suspended out of Oregon and expired from CA – vehicle was expired as of 2021 – driver did not have insurance – driver issued citation – vehicle towed – teletype sent

LAA (Possession Control Substance) S State Hwy 173/R Rd – Driver stopped for multiple vehicle code violations – driver and passenger advised they were on probation – during a vehicle search, suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located in suspect’s backpack – under Miranda, suspect said backpack, meth and paraphernalia belonged to him – subject was issued citation – advised of his court date and released in the field after signing his citation promising to appear in court – paraphernalia taken for destruction – suspected meth taken for testing and evidence

CRL (Deprive Custody) Matterhorn Ct – Subjects were married with two daughters – have been in the U.S. for two years – subject 1 was in the U.S. on a work visa – had possession of the family’s passports – subjects were separated with subject 2 living at her sister’s home in Crestline, subject 1 in the family home on Matterhorn and the children spending time in both residences – there was no custody order in place – subject 1 saw his wife and children on 5/3/24 at a birthday party – at approximately 10:00 p.m., subject 1 attempted to call his wife and children, but they did not answer the telephone – subject 2’s sister told him subject 2 and their two children were on a plane from LAX to Santiago, Chile, where the family originated – subject 2 was unaware, nor did he give subject 2 permission to travel with their two children – did not know if or when they would return

CRL (Grand Theft) Forest Shade Rd – RP is the contractor for Roadhouse Pizza – sometime between yesterday at 4:00 p.m. and this morning at 7:28 a.m., unknown subject(s) stole $2,400.00 worth of construction siding for Roadhouse and gym roof – siding is already on the chimney – pictures taken for reference – will follow up with Roadhouse when they open

TPK (Illegal Dump) Strawberry Lookout Rd/Bear Springs Rd – CHP transfer – RP is working on the fire lookout – two subjects dumped couches and tables – contacted RP at incident location – RP provided deputy with photographs and description of vehicle and subjects – deputy located site where the dumping took place – photographs of dumped items taken  

CRL (Counterfeit Bill) Crest Forest Dr – RP is karaoke host at location – subject dropped a $100 bill into tip jar at the bar on Thursday night – told RP he gave her the tip – the bill is a motion picture bill – subject allegedly used a $50 bill to buy drinks at the bar – awaiting bar owner’s response to see if bill was fake

LAA (Burglary) Blue Lake Rd – RP states male was riding toward residence that is currently under construction – unknown if he went inside and stole tools – RP requesting deputies to check residence and make sure everything is okay – suspect found to have suspected methamphetamine on her person during search and uncuff at CDC – booked for burglary and additional charges

LAA (Warrant Arrest) Hillside Rd – Homeowner is watching cameras – says white male adult in beanie, sweatshirt and jeans is trying to get into the residence – no one should be there – subject at the bottom of stairs by the trash cans – per RP, never saw male attempt to open doors/windows or enter residence – RP did not know or recognize male – suspect found on the porch of a residence he did not belong to – no signs of breaking and entering or vandalism – found to have an in-county misdemeanor warrant – arrested and booked into CDC

LAA (Grand Theft Auto) Zion Dr – CHP transfer – reporting that vehicle was stolen last night – located by CHP in traffic collision on Hwy 189 and Pinecrest – per RP, keys possibly left in vehicle – CHP advising vehicle is now entered as stolen – they can do recovery 

ARB (Miscellaneous Incident) Arrowbear Dr – RP is calling to have a report taken for damage done to property when tenants moved out and to add additional documentation to earlier report – tenant took numerous furnishings from the residence – RP will compile a list of items at a later date – requesting incident documented for further civil action

GVL (Assault) GVL – Fire is requesting assistance – per Fire, they have a community disturbance that has now turned into a fight – will be three male adults and one minor – RP says female hit him – says her husband brandished a shovel at him – did not hit him with the shovel – RP says he is injured, but declined medical – RP says Fire personnel separated them – victim was assaulted by suspect – suspect was arrested, transported and booked at CDC for assault

CRL (Domestic Battery) State Hwy 138 – Victim and his girlfriend were both drunk – argued inside the residence – during the argument, suspect hit the victim multiple times – victim suffered multiple superficial scratches across his upper body and arms – suspect had long fingernails, but denied she ever hit the victim – both declined medical – deputy arrested suspect and transported to CDC

CRL (Violate Court Order) Bergschrund Dr – Suspect was located at his parents’ house where he has been ordered by the court to stay 100 yards away from – prior to deputy arrival, suspect vandalized the front of his parents’ property by breaking and knocking several yard items to the ground – suspect’s parents did not answer the door and have not been contacted as victims – suspect arrested for violation of a court order and booked at CDC

CRL (Possession Heroin Sale) Christian Fellowship – Vehicle check at intersection – driver stepped out of the vehicle – admitted he had fentanyl in his pocket – suspect was detained and escorted to the back seat of deputy’s vehicle – during an inventory search of vehicle, deputy located numerous glass pipes with white and black residue inside – also found numerous individually sized baggies with different pills, white powder, white crystalline substance and what appeared to be mushrooms – also located a small digital scale – all of the items found were in the same area on the passenger side of the vehicle – based  on deputy training and experience, deputy believed the items found were used to sell narcotics – suspect was arrested for possession of narcotics for sale – suspect was booked at CDC and identified by his driver’s license
