June 4, 2024

RIM (Miscellaneous Incident) Pine Ave – Vehicle went through car wash and damaged the wash arm – vehicle registered to subject seen on video at the Valero car wash – once inside the car wash, the vehicle reversed into the door – the touchless spray nozzle struck the car as it attempted to pass – the nozzle was damaged – RP stated last time this happened, the repair cost $1,900.00 – RP will email deputy quote for repair once she has it – driver did not leave insurance – subject fled the scene – attempted to contact her at her residence, but no answer – no vehicle at scene – follow up needed to contact subject

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Lake Dr/Lake Gregory Dr – Vehicle stopped for failure to yield – upon further investigation, the passenger had two misdemeanor warrants – suspect booked and transported to CDC

June 5, 2024

CPP (Deprive Custody) Hartman Cir – RP wants to do a welfare check on his 2-year-old son – RP hasn’t seen his child since 4/17/24 – RP believes mother took him to Alaska – deputy spoke to RP on the phone – RP last saw his son prior to his arrest for domestic violence – believes mother has left the state with son – no child custody order in place – RP has a restraining order against him – child is not listed as a protected party on the order – teletypes were sent for mother and child

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Woodland Rd – Deputy attempting to make contact – subject ignoring deputies – window open – subject inside ignoring deputy’s announcements – male matching description inside – when announcement made, subject ducked out into another room – making contact with subject inside residence – arrest made

June 6, 2024

LAA (P/M/S Weapons) Rocky Point Rd – RP states he can only hear someone yelling “help me” in the area – RP can’t see anything – will be a male voice – additional RP can hear male screaming for help somewhere in the area – RP 2 does not have visual – has been going on for past five minutes – contacted suspect who yelled help upon deputy arrival – during contact, suspect held a canister of bear spray in his arms – admitted to having methamphetamine in his pocket – a records check showed suspect was a convicted felon – suspect was arrested 

LAA (Miscellaneous Incident) Fremont Dr – RP is whispering – advising he is in the closet – advising someone with a gun is inside the house – does not know who the person is – advising they saw someone pull into the driveway with an AR10 – RP ran inside the house – grabbed a knife and hid in the closet when they heard the front door – open door located at the residence – cleared residence – did not locate anyone inside – contacted homeowner who stated it was last rented two weeks ago – she was cleaning the property yesterday with her kids – appears the call was either fake or a different city 

CRL (Grand Theft Auto) Lake Dr – RP’s vehicle is missing from location – RP parked at North Shore Inn and took Uber back home on 6/5/24 – RP left the vehicle overnight at location – vehicle stolen at unknown time – RP advising vehicle was locked – no one had permission to take the vehicle – RP had possession of the keys at the time of the report – teletype entered 

CRL (Driving W/O License) Crestline CTF/Waterman Canyon Rd – Vehicle was stopped – driver found to be without a license – suspect was issued a citation – vehicle was released to a license driver

BLU (Vandalism) State Hwy 189 – On 6/7/24 at approximately 1:26 a.m., two unknown male subjects cut the Luita’s taco truck’s water hose – used it to syphon gas from vehicle parked at 76 gas station – RP wanted to press charges for vandalism – 76 gas station unsure if they desired prosecution – business card left – manager will send video of incident – hose cost approximately $60.00

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Lake Dr/Zurich Dr – Suspect had a misdemeanor warrant – booked at CDC for his warrant

RSP (Possession Control Substance) Palo Alto Way/Secret Dr – No report

CPP (Grand Theft Auto) Buckthorne Dr – RP located a hidden motorcycle at the end of the road – unknown if it’s stolen – VIN came back as stolen out of San Diego – motorcycle towed – victim contacted via phone – advised where motorcycle is located

LAA (Warrant Arrest) Violet Dr – Driver stopped for expired tags – driver had an expired license, expired registration and a warrant – suspect was arrested for his warrant – vehicle towed – suspect dropped off at ARMC for medical issues – citation signed

VOE (Warrant Arrest) Waters Dr – Vehicle stopped for failure to stop – suspect was issued citation for misdemeanor warrants – new court date given – teletype entered

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Straight Way – Deputy contacted suspect at residence who had an active misdemeanor warrant – suspect was ill and was arrested and cited at the scene – cite signed – teletype sent

June 9, 2024

CPP (Warrant Arrest) Glenwood Dr – RP requesting phone call from deputies – wants to know why they were at his residence looking for him – no answer via phone – will attempt contact at location – suspect cite released for his warrant

LAA (Vandalism) Lakes Edge Rd – Two vehicles were vandalized sometime last night in the Lake Arrowhead Resort parking lot – victim 1, driver of white Honda Accord – victim 2, driver of Toyota minivan – both vehicles had window shattered – Honda’s side mirror broken and fender scratched – confirmed with Rsort loss prevention that they do not have video surveillance where vehicle were parked

SKY (Found Narcotics) Santa’s Village – Employees found a bag of what they believe to be contraband – requesting deputies pick it up – various pills were located inside a pink bag – no identification was located in the bag – the pills were transported to Twin Peaks for destruction 

CRL (Driving W/O License) Zurich Dr/Gregory Pl – Traffic stop for expired registration – driver did not have a valid driver’s license – vehicle towed – teletype sent

June 10, 2024

BLU (Vandalism) State Hwy 18 – RP in Twin Peaks Station lobby – wants to report vandalism done to her vehicle – sometime on Wednesday, 6/5/24 between 5:30 a.m. and 3:15 p.m., unknown subject(s) went into the RP’s vehicle and pried off her overhead control panel where her OnStar and sunroof buttons were – the piece, without proper installation, was priced at $28.00 to replace – video surveillance is available – RP has suspicion of who did it, but only wanted the vandalism documented at this time with no subject contact

CRL (Driving W/O License) Lake Dr – Deputy was on Lake Dr when the vehicle pulled out in front of deputy in an unsafe manner – deputy had to slam on brakes to avoid traffic collision with vehicle – deputy conducted traffic stop – driver did not have a valid license – driver had a family member with a valid driver’s license come and pick up her and the vehicle – driver claimed she could not see due to a medical condition

BLU (Assault) Burnt Mill Rd – RP advising he caught subject trying to take things from his property – RP was fighting with unknown subject – subject fled the scene – deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on vehicle matching description given by RP – subject fled the area – deputy conducted an extensive area check for the subject – deputies were unable to locate subject – teletype sent for towed/stored, unregistered dirt bike

CRL (Vandalism) Pioneer Camp Rd – At approximately 8:55 p.m., female Mountain Transit employee walked into office – heard front window break minutes later – employee never saw/heard anything else – found black Bic lighter on the ground near window – negative video in the area – area check negative – employee secured window with plastic lid – workers advised a dark Subaru drove off – after deputy left, employees contacted him and stated a white female adult with long black hair drove by business slowly with door open – female drove a dark orange Subaru – yelled unknown statements at employees – female turned right onto Rocky Loop – employee stated this past winter the same vehicle followed one of the Mountain Transit buses and a female matching the description attempted to break into the business in the past – area check negative
