On June 20, 2024, at approximately 10:30 a.m., deputies were dispatched on a call of an unwanted subject outside of a residence located on the 22700 block of Ponderosa Drive in Crestline. The male left from the residence prior to deputy arrival.

Deputies located Vincent Jose Espinoza – a 24-year-old resident of Rubidoux – in a vacant home nearby. Espinoza matched the subject description provided by the reporting party.

Espinoza was found to be on probation for PC245 (assault with a deadly weapon). Deputies located approximately 50 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a scale, black airsoft pistol and counterfeit U.S. currency on Espinoza.

Espinoza was arrested for H&S 11378 (possession of controlled substance for sale) and PC 3455 (probation violation). He was booked at the Central Detention Center (Case No. 052400941) in lieu of a $280,000 bail, and a no bail probation hold.
