VOE (Possession Control Substance) Waters Dr – CHP transfer – RP was at location last night – stating victim and brother-in-law were arguing – nothing physical seen – they are not responding to calls or texts this morning – deputy contacted suspect during a welfare check – suspect has a laceration on his left hand which he claimed occurred yesterday in Victorville – during a search of suspect’s vehicle, deputy located drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine

LAA (Warrant Arrest) Lake Dr – Vehicle stopped for registration – cite released in the field for warrant

LAA (Grand Theft) Willow Creek Rd – RP stated she is in the process of moving to her daughter’s house in Arizona – RP packed up her property which included her jewelry – had Mayflower Moving Company pack up her furniture and other large items – when RP arrived in Arizona, she opened the box that contained her jewelry and noticed a box cutter was left inside the box – some of the jewelry boxes were opened – incident occurred between 6/28/24 and 6/29/24 – believes it was about $10,000.00 worth of jewelry

LAA (Tow Request) Glacier Dr/Yellowstone Dr – Vehicle stopped for expired registration – citation issued – vehicle towed – teletype entered

VOE (Miscellaneous Incident) Waters Dr – RP would like deputy to stand by while he asks for his dog back from ex-girlfriend – RP bought the dog while in a relationship with subject – subject kept the dog and refused to return it to RP – RP purchased a cell phone for subject while they were in a relationship – is still making payments on the phone – RP agreed to give subject a week to remove personal information or personal data from the phone before returning it – subject agreed to give the dog to RP

CED (Miscellaneous Incident) Hook Creek Rd – Five juveniles reported that subject had shown a pornographic video on a cell phone – all parties were staff at the Scout camp – subject said he helped one of the juveniles type the name of the video into Google correctly – four juveniles stated that subject did not seek sexual gratification – elements of sending or showing harmful material to a minor were not met – report taken for documentation – report number provided to camp staff

CRL (Vandalism) Scenic Dr – Between 7/1/24 and 7/2/24, unknown subject(s) damaged the victim’s vehicle around her front passenger wheel – there is a dent directly above the wheel well and the plastic surrounding the front of the wheel well is cracked and broken – the victim estimates the cost to fix is approximately $300.00 – pending possible subject contact

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Lake Dr/Manzanita Dr – Vehicle stopped for missing license plate – passenger admitted to having warrants – records check found he had three active misdemeanor warrants – male was arrested and booked at CDC

RIM (Warrant Arrest) State Hwy 18/Rim of the World Dr – Vehicle stopped for registration – upon further investigation, the driver had a misdemeanor warrant – suspect arrested and booked into CDC on warrant – teletype entered for vehicle

TPK (Runaway Juvenile) State Hwy 189 – One to two hours ago, RP’s 16-year-old son gone on foot – RP and son got into an argument this morning about hanging out on the Fourth of July with his friends – son was grounded due to his recent behavior and failed a drug test weeks earlier – son told his parent he would leave – after a couple of hours, juvenile did not return to location – parent became concerned – parent provided recent photograph of juvenile – teletype entered for missing person – parents notified friends/family members

TPK (Miscellaneous Incident) Twin Peaks Station – No report

BLU (Driving W/SUS/RV License) State Hwy 189/Blue Jay Ctf – Vehicle stopped – cited for driving without a license – vehicle towed – vehicle registration expired over six months

CRL (Assault W/Weapon) Cloudview Rd – Vehicle seen driving recklessly on Lake Dr – traffic stop conducted – driver advised they were just shot at from a black BMW with a white male adult and Hispanic male adult while on Lake Dr – area check for vehicle and subjects negative – video obtained from Sleepy Hollow – pending video from 7-Eleven – no additional subject information

July 4, 2024

LAA (Driving W/SUS/RV License) Mountains Community Hospital – Vehicle stopped for registration – driver arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked license – vehicle towed

LAA (Warrant Arrest) N State Hwy 173/Hospital Rd – Vehicle stopped for registration – records check showed driver had warrant for tinted windows – driver issued citation for warrant – released in the field – advised driver of vehicle code 

CRL (P/M/S Danger Weapon) Goodwin’s Market – Officer flagged down by a citizen who advised there was a male in parking lot of Goodwin’s with a gun – during traffic stop related to the initial call for service, contacted driver and passenger – driver found to be on active CDC parole – during a search of the vehicle, a black expandable stun-baton/flashlight and illegal fireworks were found in the bed of the truck – during a search of passenger’s person, a methamphetamine pipe was found – driver arrested – passenger cited for drug charge and transported via Fire – vehicle towed – teletype sent

CRL (Driving W/O License) Lake Dr/Springwater Rd – Driver cite released for driving without a license – no passenger had valid license – vehicle towed – teletype sent for stored vehicle

LAA (Assist Fire/CDF) N State Hwy 173/Willow Creek Rd – RP advising as they were driving through the Pinnacles, they saw a brush fire

July 5, 2024

GVL (Death Investigation) Green Valley Lake Rd/Green Valley Ln – Male subject on campground site – possibly deceased – confirmed – friends on scene requested to notify family in person – they will call once family is notified – possible hyperthermia – body transported – no medical conditions – family not notified

TPK (DUI) S Grass Valley Rd/State Hwy 189 – Vehicle was seen driving on Grass Valley Rd swerving within its lane – vehicle also in violation of obscured license plate – traffic stop conducted – driver found to be under the influence of alcohol – driver stated he was in a motorcycle accident earlier in the night and Fire transported male to Loma Linda hospital – blood draw at hospital – doctor kept driver for observations – citation signed and released to the care of the hospital

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Lake Dr/Old Mill Rd – Suspect was contacted during a bike check – suspect had an ankle monitor on – advised he was on probation out of San Diego – he was found to have a misdemeanor warrant for drug charge – deputy transported suspect to CDC – booked him for his warrant – deputy double locked the handcuffs and checked for property fit – deputy placed a seatbelt on suspect during transport 

LAA (Miscellaneous Incident) Hospital Rd – RP in Twin Peaks Station lobby – on 7/5/24 at 1:00 p.m., RP went to Mountains Community Hospital for her scheduled ultrasound for her throat – during her exam, she felt the technician was inconsiderate and inappropriate – RP felt the tech was rough during the exam – stating he grabbed her hip and scooted her closer to him to complete the exam along with placing his forearm along her chest area – there was no inappropriate conversation – the exam lasted an estimated 10-15 minutes – RP went to file a complaint with the hospital, however administration will not be available until Monday

LAA (Vandalism) Arrowhead Village – Information via CHP – RP advising a vehicle intentionally hit him over a parking space – declined medical – not answering call back for additional information – occurred at the Village – subject vehicle is a gray Nissan SUV – no driver description

CRL (Miscellaneous Incident) Lake Dr – CHP transfer – female advising please hurry they are hurting her – per CHP, female was not answering questions – being uncooperative – advising subject threw a beer at her – she is at a festival – same subject who threw the beer was putting their hands on someone else – mutual assault – no prosecution desired – no injuries

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Goodwin’s Market – Suspect issued citation for his warrant with new court date – released at the station – teletype entered

CRL (Possession Narcotics) Goodwin’s Market – On Saturday, 7/6/24 at approximately 4:00 p.m., deputy conducted a vehicle check on Lake Dr on a purple Dodge charger – contacted a white male adult – deputy asked suspect if he had anything illegal in the vehicle to which he responded no – deputy then asked if he could search the vehicle for any contraband or weapons – suspect consented – during search, deputy found suspected methamphetamine and heroin – suspect was arrested for possession of narcotics

CRL (Paraphernalia) Goodwin’s Market – Limited report – cite released

RIM (Miscellaneous Incident) Bear Springs Rd – 19-year-old RP was confronted and assaulted by a former friend – victim did not desire criminal prosecution, but wanted the incident documented – medical declined – photographs were taken and additional options were provided

July 7, 2024

VOE (Driving W/O License) Brookside Rd/Sequoia Ln – Vehicle stopped for light out – driver found to have an ID card only – driver issued citation – vehicle towed – teletype entered

CED (Vandalism) Cedar Glen Inn – Between 1:00 p.m. and 2:20 p.m., unknown subject(s) wrote “f*** you!” on the passenger side rear door – RP did not have a quote for the estimated repair cost – RP will follow up with repair cost – area check negative for surveillance – no suspect leads

CRL (Domestic Battery) Berne Dr – Victim and her husband argued over the Wi-Fi in their residence – during the argument, the victim reached for a cell phone charger, when suspect grabbed and twisted the victim’s wrist which caused a small abrasion on her right wrist – suspect stated there was a struggle where he “stopped” the victim from reaching for the cell phone, but did not want to elaborate how he stopped her – suspect was arrested and transported to CDC where he was booked on his charge

CRL (Non Injury Traffic Collision) Goodwin’s Market – CHP provided information reference private property traffic collision – confirmed pedestrian is awake and breathing

LAA (Burglary) Saint Bernard Ln – CHP transfer – Between Saturday, 7/6/24 at 4:00 p.m. and 7/7/24 at 3:00 p.m., unknown subject(s) entered through an open rear door – stole a beige safe, jewelry and three rifles with ammunition – RP found a large bag in the bushes filled with tools and masks – tools had a specific letter “G” written on them which belonged to a former employee – RP had not seen subject in over a year – items taken for DNA – will follow up for subject contact – area check for video/witnesses

LAA (Disturb Husband/Wife) Saint Anton – Subjects are divorcing – living in same residence with two children aged 6 years and 18 months – subject 1 was out with friends drinking – came home to upset subject 2 who needed to go to work – both parties were arguing when subject 1 claims subject 2 pushed her twice with his chest – subject 2 denies claim, but admits he got in her face – no video – no injuries – subsequently subject 1 claims subject 2 threatened to bury her in the desert – report taken for documentation – subject 2 left for work

July 8, 2024

LAA (Possession Narcotics) Lakes Edge Rd – On Monday, 7/7/24, deputy was dispatched to welfare check at the CVS in Lake Arrowhead Village for a man slumped over in his vehicle – upon arriving, deputy observed a white male adult slumped over the steering wheel – deputy observed burnt foil with a yellow substance consistent with fentanyl – deputy knocked on the window – suspect stated he had used drugs that morning around 6:00 a.m. – he admitted that there was fentanyl in the vehicle – suspect was arrested for drug charge and booked at CDC – vehicle towed – teletype sent

CRL (Found Property) Lake Dr – Wallet with contents and driver’s license found at Lake Gregory – contacted victim and advised him of his driver’s license

CRL (Vehicle Tampering) Deer Trl – On 7/6/24 between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., RP was feeding a neighbor’s’ cat – when she returned to her vehicle at 10:00 p.m., she smelt a strong odor of gasoline in the driveway, but didn’t pay much attention nor look at the gas gauge until she returned home – less than a mile away – when she got home, she noticed she only had about three to five gallons of gas left – compared to the 10 to 11 gallons she had when she first arrived – there are no video surveillance cameras located outside the residence – a follow-up was submitted to possibly obtain photographs or determine how the gas was syphoned considering her vehicle has a locking gas cap

CRL (Domestic Battery) Delle Dr – RP requesting welfare check on friend – welfare check on victim who got hit by her boyfriend – upon arrival, victim cried and stated suspect hit her for the past four years – recently hit her in the face multiple times – victim and suspect have a 2-year-old child together, but suspect lives in England – suspect stays with victim while in the US – threatened to take their child – suspect admitted he hit victim – arrested for domestic battery and transport to CDC – emergency protective order was signed and waiting to be served by CDC – copy sent to records and vicitm
