LAA (Warrant Arrest) N Grass Valley Rd – RP requesting well check on his partner – during well check, suspect stated he was OK and did not need law enforcement assistance – a records check showed suspect had an active misdemeanor warrant – suspect arrested and booked at CDC

CRL (Assault W/Weapon) Nesthorn Dr – Suspect attempted to run over the victim with his vehicle – moments later, suspect exited his car and ran toward the victim with a knife – suspect punched the victim twice in the face and stabbed the victim in the left hand – suspect continued to swing the knife and cut the victim on the right shoulder – suspect arrested and booked into CDC on his charge

GVL (Warrant Arrest) Dahlia Dr – Deputy contacted suspect at his residence, advised him of his warrant and arrested him – transported for booking – suspect did not wish to speak to deputy once advised of Miranda

CRL (False Pretense) Bowl Rd – On 8/11/24, subject, who was former house cleaner, offered to buy some furniture for RP – RP sent subject about $800.00 via Cash App – RP was last in contact with subject on 8/12/24 when he said he was on his way to her house – no further contact – no goods delivered – RP wanted to wait until tomorrow to provide further – will contact RP then

VOE (Drunk in Public) Seeley Ln/Byron Rd – Deputy conducted a vehicle check on a vehicle in the parking lot of local school which was parked against a red curb – the vehicle was on and running – a male was in the driver seat asleep – male was identified – he was found to be intoxicated – he was arrested and transported to WVDC – vehicle was towed – teletype sent

TPK (Returned Missing Person) Boulder Ln – Friend contacted RP through Messenger – has no phone – says there is somebody outside location – deputies contact subject in front of location – subject OK – dropped at Waterman/40th in San Bernardino – teletype entered removing subject as a missing person

CRL (Possession Danger Drugs) Mormon Monument Rd/State Hwy 18 – Suspects were contacted during a vehicle check – in plain view in from of suspect 1 was a suspected methamphetamine pipe – during a subsequent search, additional suspected meth was located – during a Miranda interview, suspect 2 admitted to trading EBT cards for it with a male in Highland – both suspects were transported and booked into CDC without incident

TPK (Warrant Arrest) Club House Dr – Deputy contacted suspect during a pedestrian check – suspect was found to have two active misdemeanor warrants – deputy handcuffed suspect to the rear – suspect double locked the handcuffs and checked them for tightness – deputy transported suspect to CDC and booked him for his warrants – prior to transport, deputy secured suspect with a seatbelt – deputy contact with suspect was recorded

TPK (Tow Request) Club House Dr – Vehicle unoccupied, parked blocking private driveway – vehicle towed

LAA (Adult Protective Services) Community Dr – On Thursday, 8/15/24 at approximately 11:28 a.m., deputy dispatched to assist Fire with an elderly woman who had been on the floor for approximately three days before being discovered by a neighbor – has no family currently living at her residence – subject is unable to care for herself – transported to Mountains Community Hospital by Fire – report will be forwarded to Adult Protective Services

CRL (Driving W/O License) Lake Dr/Springwater Dr – Vehicle was seen driving on Lake Dr without lights during darkness – driver found to not have a driver’s license and no insurance – driver was cited and released – vehicle towed – teletype sent

CRL (Driving W/SUS/RV License) Lake Gregory Dr/Geneva Dr – Vehicle stopped – driver admitted to not having a driver’s license – driver cited – released at the scene

CRL (Driving W/O License) Alder Rd/Straight Way – Vehicle failed to use turn signal – vehicle was also found to have expired registration – driver found to not have driver’s license or insurance – driver cited – vehicle legally parked in front of his residence – released to male

RSP (Courtesy Report) Hilltop Blvd – No report

CPP (Vehicle Burglary) Crest Forest Dr – RP works for San Bernardino County Fire – they were in training at incident location – states training bag with contents left in his car in Camp Seeley – multiple uniforms, Apple MacBook, Air Pods  and additional clothing – victim’s laptop last pinged at location about an hour ago – spoke with owner of residence – currently under construction – will follow up with victim when available – no additional suspect/investigation leads at this time

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Pioneer Camp Rd/Wildwood Rd – On Friday, 8/16/24, deputy conducted a pedestrian check on a white female adult – later identified – a records check revealed that suspect had a misdemeanor warrant – transported to CDC

CRL (Miscellaneous Incident) Dart Canyon Rd – RP requesting deputy to incident location reference additional strange call she received again from a Middle Eastern male – RP received three calls on 8/14/24 – mostly unintelligible voicemail messages – able to make out some words – “FBI” and possibly “White House”

RSP (miscellaneous Incident) Hoffman Elementary – School staff observed someone they thought was possibly known subject pick up another student at school – subject 1 has restraining order against subject 2 and their children’s school is included in the stay-away order

CRL (Driving W/SUS/RV License) State Hwy 18 – On Friday, 8/16/24, deputy observed an adult Hispanic male, later identified, in a turnout on Hwy 18 near the intersection with Hwy 138, smoking a bong – deputy conducted a vehicle check – suspect admitted to taking a “hit” of marijuana – a records check revealed that suspect had a suspended driver’s license – suspect cited – vehicle towed – teletype sent

BLU (Domestic Battery) State Hwy 189 – Victim’s mother called to say there was an ongoing domestic violence incident occurring between her daughter and suspect – upon arrival, victim told deputy that suspect slammed a door into her about four times – smacked her in the face – hit her with a charging cable about four times – victim had a laceration on her arm, a swollen lip, and a scratch on her chin that she said came from the altercation – suspect said the victim scratched him and pushed him, but did not want to provide any more information – suspect was arrested based on the prevalence of injuries on the victim – suspect booked at CDC

VOE (Warrant Arrest) Waters Dr/Log Ln – On Saturday, 8/17/24, deputy conducted a pedestrian check on an adult white male – later identified – records check revealed he had three misdemeanor warrants totaling $30,000.00 – given suspect’s extensive medical history, he was issued a citation and released at the scene – teletype sent

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Wildrose Ln/Lake Dr – On Saturday, 8/17/24, deputy conducted a traffic stop on a black Dodge Ram – the passenger was found to have an active misdemeanor warrant following a records check – suspect was cited and released at the scene – teletype sent

CRL (Possession Danger Drugs) Pioneer Camp Rd – Deputy assisted partner with an Animal Control call – during incident, deputy observed an adult Hispanic female walking in the area – initiated a pedestrian check – while speaking with suspect, she admitted to finding a small plastic baggie while walking around the neighborhood the previous day and placing it in her purse – upon searching her purse, deputy found a small plastic baggie containing a substance suspected to be methamphetamine – report will be forwarded to the DA for review

CRL (Tow Report) Lake Dr/Springwater Rd – Vehicle towed for unlicensed driver – driver cited for excessive noise/exhaust system – teletype sent

August 19, 2024

VOE (Paraphernalia) State Hwy 138/Kay Rd – On Monday, 8/19/24 at approximately 7:59 a.m., deputy initiated a traffic stop on black GMC for failing to stop at the intersection – the passenger was found in possession of two methamphetamine pipes on her person – suspect admitted to smoking meth approximately 6:30 a.m. and reported feeling its effects – suspect arrested and booked at CDC

TPK (Paraphernalia) State Hwy 189/Glen View Ln – Deputy contacted suspect on a road behind her residence after confirming she had a warrant for her arrest – a records check was conducted on vehicle parked on her driveway – deputies were advised the plate was not registered to her vehicle – during a Miranda interview, she admitted she knew the plate did not belong to her vehicle – she was arrested – suspect’s boyfriend was also contacted at residence – he had a meth pipe on his person and was arrested

CRL (Domestic Battery) State Hwy 18/S State Hwy 138 – Victim yelled for help on Hwy 18 after her boyfriend punched her multiple times in the arms/abdomen and left her in a turnout – RP picked up victim and drove her to Twin Peaks Sheriff Station – victim did not have a way back down the mountain – deputy transported her to 40th where she was picked up by family – victim denied medical – had no visible injuries, but complained of pain to her right arm – both from San Bernardino – unable to contact subject on phone or locate a good address – area check negative
