Karla Kellems holds the prestigious Joe Momyer Conservation Award she was recently presented, honoring her 10 years of volunteerism with the San Gorgonio Chapter of the Sierra Club. She often is in charge of the local monthly Sierra Club meetings at St. Richard’s Church, is a hike leader and is also the trainer of the those who lead the various monthly hikes and outings. Her 10 years of service have been invaluable to the advancement of the Sierra Club’s goals and programs and those who appreciate the earth. She is recognized by the San Bernardino Land Trust as a “Dedicated Steward of the Forest.”
