The Lake Gregory Regional Park hiring event day is on Saturday, April 12 at the San Moritz Lodge, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The supervisors of each department will be in attendance and will hold in-person interviews that same day, if time permits.

Come prepared to be interviewed and know your past work experience and skills. Come with a positive attitude and dressed appropriately, since this job requires interaction with the public. They are seeking employees with excellent character, integrity and adaptability. Applications may be filled out online in advance of the hiring day, which will save time, at https://www.lakegregory.com/jobs.

There are a variety of summer season positions open and the Lake Gregory Company is currently hiring for all positions, including lifeguards, lake crew members, beach crew, food service workers, park rangers and the important guest information specialist. Some positions are full-time, some part-time, some are seasonal and others are year-round positions. There are several requirements for each job position, all of which can be seen on the website. Pay scales vary by job and start at $16.50 an hour.

The sport court attendants are responsible for assisting in overseeing Lake Gregory sport court venues and skatepark. This includes the tennis court, basketball court, playground, skate park and restrooms in Crestline, adjacent to Lake Gregory, as part of the Regional Park.

The food service worker position is responsible for the preparation and serving of food items at the lake, with an emphasis on high quality, safety and excellent customer service at the Lake Side Grill and other food and drink venues. Employees should have excellent integrity, since they are dealing with sales and adaptability, plus they need to have a current food handler card from San Bernardino County for this position.

The highly coveted lifeguard positions have numerous requirements for the safety of the lake guests, including CPR certification with several days of lifeguard training at the Thousand Pines pool, where there are two sessions in May. Session 1 is the weekends of May 10 and May 16 through 18 and Session 2 is weekdays of May 19 through 22. When attending these sessions, those applicants must bring an athletic swimsuit, a towel, sun block, a great attitude and proof of age (18+). Lifeguards are responsible for the safety of staff and guests in and around the water at Lake Gregory, while the guests are swimming and participating at the inflatable splash islands and the waterslides.

A park ranger is part of the front-line staff assigned to maintain a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring all of the lake property, while also informing guests of and enforcing lake policies and procedures, with a focus on excellent customer service and hospitality and must have good people skills for dealing with the public.

The Lake Gregory Company provides equal employment opportunities to all applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type. It is highly suggested that all applicants visit https://www.lakegregory.com/jobs in advance to learn the detailed requirements of each job position.
