Honey Hutchcroft, born Helene Phyllis Silverstein on October 11, 1949, in Santa Monica, California, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025, in Redlands, California. Honey’s life was a radiant reflection of creativity, devotion, and love – shaped and guided by her deep faith in Jesus Christ.

Honey’s greatest joy and accomplishment was being an extraordinary mother to her three daughters: Harmony, Heather and Hana. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support laid the foundation for a close-knit family that continues to carry forward Honey’s legacy of love and faith.

Together with her beloved husband of 50 years, Kim Hutchcroft, Honey co-created Tender Branches, a musical ministry that touched the lives of children and families across the globe. Through two children’s albums and countless performances at elementary schools, churches, and festivals – including Cornerstone Music Festival in Illinois, Spring Harvest in England, Black Forest Academy in Germany and venues throughout California and the Midwest – Tender Branches became a vessel for sharing joy and spiritual encouragement.

Honey also brought her musical gifts to Hawaii through The Honey Berry Jam collaboration with dear friend Berry Andelin. Whether performing or writing songs, Honey’s voice carried warmth and sincerity that resonated deeply with audiences of all ages.

In addition to music, Honey expressed her artistic talents through stained glass. As the owner of Harmony Stain Glass in Crestline, she created luminous works that reflected both beauty and craftsmanship. Her artistry extended into every corner of life – as a homemaker who filled her home with hospitality, warmth and welcome; as a classroom volunteer who gave generously of her time; and even as a cheer coach who inspired young hearts with enthusiasm.

Honey was deeply involved in church life, serving faithfully in children’s ministry, singing on the worship team and opening her home for gatherings that fostered community and connection. Her faith and love of Jesus was not only professed but lived out daily through acts of kindness, service and hospitality.

Honey is lovingly remembered by her husband, Kim Hutchcroft; daughters Harmony (and Greg Cho) of Santa Rosa; Heather (and Josh Avis) of Redlands; Hana (and Nathanael Balon) of Lake Arrowhead; eight cherished grandchildren: Jaxon, Kalli and Addyson Cho; Macyn, Truly and August Avis; Simon and Florence Balon; brother Mark (and Christina Silverstein); sister-in-law Lucia Hutchcroft; brother-in-law Lon (and Tami Hutchcroft) and countless friends.

She is reunited in peace with her parents, Phil and Elizabeth Silverstein; brother Ron Silverstein; and parents-in-law, Harold and Mary Esther Hutchcroft.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Packinghouse (Calvary Chapel Redlands), located at 27165 San Bernardino Ave., Redlands, California 92374. Guests are invited to attend in casual Hawaiian/Aloha attire as a tribute to Honey’s joyful spirit.

Honey’s life was a sweet song – full of harmony, grace, color and light. May her memory continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
