The Lake Arrowhead Communities Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors held its annual retreat day to bond and make decisions on the coming year. They installed Scott Rindenow as the new Chair of the Board, and promoted Ken Witte to the position of Past Chair. The Chamber Board of Directors is a working group of volunteers to help improve the business climate of the area so local businesses can grow and flourish.
The Lake Arrowhead Chamber of Commerce has numerous responsibilities in the community and is responsible to its members to be the lead on working for the betterment of all businesses in the Lake Arrowhead communities. The mission of the chamber is “to serve its membership through support and promotion of a strong local business environment and create awareness of the mountain communities as a destination” (lakearrowheadchamber.com.)
The chamber also operates the Visitor’s Center in Lake Arrowhead Village, since it was said almost 75 percent of the homes in the Lake Arrowhead area are either part-time homeowners or used as short-term rentals, which generates tourists. The chamber’s business office is located within the Visitor’s Center, making the Visitors Center manned more hours of the week, and it is open every weekend.
The Chamber of Commerce has many responsibilities. The government liaisons hold office hours inside the chamber office once every month so local residents may have contact with their elected representatives at a locally convenient location. Plus, the chamber runs a monthly Governmental Affairs Meeting by Zoom at www.lakearrowheadgovernmentalaffairs.org to inform those interested in what the various government agencies are doing. Anyone may attend those Zoom meetings, coordinated through the chamber office on the first Monday morning of each month.
During the Board of Directors retreat held at Pali Mountain, the committees and their chairs were appointed for the next year. Committees include a Membership committee, a Marketing committee, the Mixer Coordinators, the Home Tour Committee, the Brewfest committee, the Bylaws Committee, the Nomination Committee and the Governmental Affairs Committee.
Members of the 2026 Lake Arrowhead Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors are: Brad Lofland of SkyPark; Jacob Anderson of Edward Jones; Corina Colan from The Law Office of Corina I. Colan; Rhea-Frances Tetley of the Alpine Mountaineer; Anastasia Sullivan of Pali Mountain; Terrance Sullivan of Lake Arrowhead Resort; Scott Rindenow of Lake Arrowhead News.com; Alex Vallejos of Twin Peaks Farmer’s Market; Ken Witte of Twin Peaks Masonic Lodge; Brian Cohen of Arrowhead Premiere Properties and Lindsay Hauss of Lake Arrowhead Jiu Jitsu. These volunteers are working to create an atmosphere so the Lake Arrowhead business community may thrive.

There are various levels of membership: the Leadership Circle Level to the Executive, Signature, Nonprofit, Second Business or Community Member membership levels. Apply and complete the membership application online at: www.LakeArrowheadChamber.com/member-signup.
The Chamber promotes the area and its member businesses through print, digital media and social media. Through its mixers, it fosters networking, it advocates for its members and it works to build the community through the connections it builds.
