Welcome to the lake!

When Wayne Phillips walked by Lake Gregory on Feb. 2, he was amazed to see eight blue herons. “In the past, I’ve only seen one bird at the lake,” he said. “It looked like a bunch of his buddies were hanging out with him.”

    Those are not blue herons, they are double crested cormorants. You need to print a retraction, at the very least. Printing misinformation goes against everything journalism stands for, and does a disservice to education the public about birds.
