Man alleged to have been stabbed arrested for burglary

On Tuesday, July 11, at about 9:59 a.m., deputies from the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station responded to the 400 block of Clubhouse Drive regarding a male who alleged he had been stabbed.

The male was later identified as Robert Kondalski, 47, a resident of San Bernardino. During the investigation, it was found Kondalski had not been stabbed, and his statements were inconsistent.

Kondalski was found to be on active probation with an active GPS monitoring system. San Bernardino County Probation assisted deputies in tracking Kondalski’s movements; that history showed he had previously been at the Twin Peaks Community Church, located at 26032 State Highway 189.

Deputies conducted a security check of the church and discovered it had been burglarized. Using information obtained during the investigation, deputies located some of the property stolen from the church at a residence in the 400 block of Cedarbrook Drive in Twin Peaks.

Kondalski was arrested and booked into Central Detention Center for violation of Penal Code 594.3-Vandalism of Religious House of Worship, Penal Code 459-Burglary and Penal Code 422.6-Hate Crime.

Anyone with information regarding this incident (Case No. 052300758) is urged to contact the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station at (909) 336-0600. Callers wishing to remain anonymous are urged to contact the We-Tip Hotline at (800) 78-CRIME (27463).
