The Jews made Israel a beautiful and vital country, with modern amenities, amazing medical and scientific research, top notch education – naming a few of the improvements to the lives of not only Israelis but generously sharing their knowledge with communities around the world.
Hamas terrorists (and others of like mind) are committed to turning Israel backwards where women are second-class citizens and people are ruled with an iron hand. History has proven repeatedly that only strength and resolve can combat barbaric ideology.
When people rejoice in the streets, take pictures and videos over innocents being slaughtered, children murdered in front of their parents, babies burned and beheaded, women being raped before being killed and old people dragged from their homes, the time has come to rid the world of such absolute evil.
There are those that ask, “What about the innocent civilians on the other side that will be killed?” They, unlike what occurred on Oct. 7, 2023, have received warnings about what is coming and to evacuate. Does Hamas care what happens to the innocents? No, they believe they should stay and die for “the cause,” while the leaders hide in safe places. What cause are they talking about? The cause to have a life that will be far worse than what they have now and lose their families in the process?
Terrorists have an insidious disease, far worse than COVID 19, and we must stand with Israel to eradicate it for today and future generations.
We members of the Mountain Jewish Community can only wish it were not so. If there were, in this moment, an alternative to war, we don’t know what it is. President Biden is working with President Netanyahu for a way to bring humanitarian need of food, water and medical supplies to the many innocent people in Gaza. Additionally, they are looking to where displaced citizens have a safe haven.

We hope individuals will also donate whatever they can to support Israel and their right to exist.
