Botanical Enchantress and the Palace of Bone and Salt celebrated their expansion and move to a new location with a Crestline Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting on June 13.

The Thursday ribbon cutting attracted large crowd of residents, customers and chamber members, who came to congratulate these two established businesses on their expansion into this new location at 23872 Lake Drive, across the street from Bizzyland.

“The opening of Botanical Enchantress and The Palace of Bone and Salt,” said Louis Boehle, the chamber president, “which are both women-owned, is a testament to the vibrant spirit here in Crestline. (This town) appreciates that dedication to fostering unique local businesses which value creativity and innovation.”

Inside the store some customers gathered to celebrate the grand opening and emergence of another new business in Crestline, the Botanical Enchantress and the Palace of Bone and Salt.

The Botanical Enchantress is owned by Lauryl Lane who has a love of aesthetics and herbalism from her days owning a store on Fairfax and serving stars. She combines that with a unique book store, the Palace of Bone and Salt, owned by Elise Duggins; it was formerly located on Forest Shade.

The store includes an apothecary, herbal teas, botanicals, crystals, tinctures and oils, handcrafted treasures and a finely curated selection of books spanning the genres of general fiction, fantasy, women’s issues and health, LGBTQ+, metaphysical, mystery and many literary delights. There is seating and soft lighting that add to the aura of the comfortable store.

After the ribbon cutting, many stayed around for the refreshments and comfortable talk with the owners, Lane and Duggins. The store is open Thursdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Their phone number is (909) 255-9333.
