Taking the helm of the Running Springs chamber

For what may be the 18th year in a row, Kevin Somes (center) has been elected president of the Running Springs Area Chamber of Commerce. Becky Morgan (left) was elected vice president and Vickey England was reelected treasurer. Jenny Hueter (not pictured) was elected secretary. Elected to a two-year term in the recent election are Kevin Somes, Steve Peter, Becky Morgan, Susan Lopez and Mike Lee. The board will be installed at a dinner on Nov. 1 at 5 p.m. at the Hootman Center where awards will be presented to the Business of the Year, Organization of the Year and two Residents of the Year. Chamber members are encouraged to nominate “standout folks who deserve recognition” at https://tinyurl.com/RSACCAwards2025.
