Both avid and casual readers will be happy to learn that, at long last, an independent bookstore has opened in Crestline. Print and Page Booksellers, located at the corner of Thousand Pines Road and Lake Drive, held what owner Devina Horvath called a “soft opening” on Saturday, Feb. 29.
Asked what inspired her to open a bookstore in Crestline, Horvath said she had relocated her bookstore from Corona to Crestline because she misses the small-town atmosphere of the mountains of Pennsylvania, where she grew up.
Noting that she has over 10,000 new and used books in stock – most of which have yet to be placed in her new store location – Horvath said she should have most of them in place in time for her official grand opening on Saturday, April 25. She said she is happy to pre-order new releases and take orders for books she doesn’t have in stock and that she also has a trade-in policy.
