It’s Winter Wonderland time at SkyPark

Ice skating, hot cocoa, sudden appearances by Jack Frost – it must be Winter Wonderland at SkyPark at Santa’s Village.
As we approach the coldest part of the year, it’s time for all of the favorite frosty activities at SkyPark. Come experience outdoor adventures, seasonal characters, special entertainment, the Snow Quest scavenger hunt and more.
A Day Pass to SkyPark at Santa’s Village includes activities such as rock climbing, archery, ax throwing, ice skating (weather permitting), pedal cars, the NorthWoods Express train ride and Winter Wonderland’s Snow Quest. Don’t miss the magical stylings of Wacko the magician, puppet shows and stories of the NorthWoods. There are nominal fees for some craft activities such as cookie decorating.
So what is the Snow Quest scavenger hunt? You will help Princess Snowfall find the lost magic snow crystals.
Without the magic snow crystals, the winter princess cannot create the storms in the NorthWoods which provide water to the trees and help quench the thirst of all the animals.
To participate, pick up a game card in the admissions building. If you can complete your quest, you’ll receive a special surprise!
Born on an ice-cold winter day, Princess Snowfall is the daughter of King Crispin and Queen Iclyn Frost. She and her brother, Jack Frost, only appear in the village during the coldest months of the year when the weather is perfect for snow.
Winter at SkyPark is always extra special because the Silver Bells Arena is the mountain’s only outdoor ice skating rink. Did you know ice skating works nearly every muscle group in the body?
Skates and helmets are included with park admission. Guests are also welcome to bring their own skates.
Winter park hours from Jan. 12 through March 12 are Thursday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The park will be closed from Monday through Wednesday.
