KTLA shines spotlight on Lake Arrowhead
As part of their travel show “Destination Celebration,” KTLA-TV Channel 5 highlighted Lake Arrowhead and the mountain communities on a Thanksgiving Day broadcast with host Wendy Burch.
The media event was sponsored by the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa, which partnered with KTLA for a holiday contest prize package giveaway that included a two-night stay at the Resort, passes to Snow Valley Mountain Resort and tickets to SkyPark at Santa’s Village.
Several live segments were aired throughout the day, featuring the local area, the early days of filmmaking, the area as a playground for Hollywood stars, snow play, Lake Arrowhead Village, Santa’s Village, Thanksgiving recipes from Chef Greg of BIN189 and more.
