Across the mountain folks could be seen up on roofs, clearing away the feet of snow in an effort to prevent more roof collapses. Some were private citizens, like Hector, Josh and Steve who helped shovel off the roof at the Green Valley Lake General Store. “It was starting to bow under the weight of the snow,” said owner Alexandra Lim. “Cal Fire guys helped a bit before they had to go do rescues.” In Blue Jay, an inmate hand crew was clearing roofs, while a food distribution took place at the library.
