The 48th annual Lake Arrowhead Home Tour takes place this Saturday, Sept. 16. It is a rare opportunity to tour five magnificent homes, explore Lake Arrowhead on a private boat shuttle and enjoy a complimentary wine and cheese reception.
Four of the five homes are in the gated community of North Shore Estates.
Lakeshore Lodge: Guests will arrive at the Lakefront Lodge by boat shuttle from Lake Arrowhead Village. This mountain retreat has the woodsy look and feel of a classic lodge. A haven from the bustling city below the mountain, this is a family home dedicated to kids and grandkids. The home has great outdoor space on the lake for entertaining. Guests will take a short. Stroll along the lake’s edge to the next home.

Home Tour-Old Arrowhead at the Lake
Old Arrowhead at the Lake: Guests will be transported back to a time when old Hollywood stars graced the mountain resorts. This home has breathtaking views of Lake Arrowhead. The entryways welcome guest with the hand-cut quartz stone that took years to lay and giant handmade bronze pinecones that stand out among the pines.

Home Tour-Storybook Lodge
Storybook Lodge: An enchanting home near the lake, like from a fairy tale. Black antique exterior doors and windowpanes create charm and invite guests to explore the rooms inside. A modern kitchen, built for entertainment, is graced with an antique gas stove. An antique bathtub is set alongside a modern fireplace. This home is full of contrasts and wonderful surprises.

Home Tour-The Little Blue Cottage
The Little Blue Cottage: Guests will think they have just landed in the South of France at this charming cottage near the lake. Here, on “la Cote D’Azur” of the North Shore, enjoy the calm surrounded by the stunning foliage and streaming fountain as you enter the home. Local artists like Patty McDonald grace the walls of the cottage and bring guests back from the Mediterranean to Lake Arrowhead.

Home Tour-Lakeside Chalet
Lakeside Chalet: This chic prow home was built in 1967 and has been lovingly restored and enjoyed as the jewel of the neighborhood. It was the first of its kind to go with the black exterior trend, against the backdrop of Alpine Swiss village-like homes. Lake views, stunning amenities and outdoor dining are perfect for entertaining and relaxing. The home’s mother-in-law unit will be seen for the first time on the Home Tour.
The wine and cheese reception will take place at The Tudor House from noon to 5 p.m. Guests will receive a keepsake Home Tour wine glass
The boat shuttles are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
