On Thursday, Sept. 29, the Crestline Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony welcoming Organic Healing Therapy into the Crestline business community.

Owner Yara Saldana has been doing deep tissue therapeutic massage for five years. She is offering a full-service, health focused therapeutic massage option to the mountain communities with this new studio. It includes a sauna, red light therapy and private massage room, with a specially designed table. An oncology nurse will soon be available, plus an esthetician will be adding facials to the services being offered, beginning in January. They also have organically pure soaps for those seeking them.

Saldana, a licensed massage therapist (CAMTC #84506), offered both eastern and western massage techniques in her former location, which collapsed in last winter’s snowstorms. She has accreditations and certificates from The National Holistic Institute in Ontario. She worked previously as a chiropractic massage therapist for car and other accident victims in a chiropractor’s office and has done sport medicine massage healing.
Through her training and years of experience, Saldana knows how the body reacts to the various types of massage, and the expected results from the deep tissue work she can perform. After a therapeutic massage, Saldana says the body needs to stretch to give it a full chemical release. When that occurs, the body achieves a “therapeutic drunk” with the toxins moving through the body, so when the customer walks out, they have a relaxed and good feeling body.
Contact Saldana at (951) 578-5603 to make an appointment and see her website at OrganicHealingTherapy.com. Organic Healing Therapy is located at 23721 Rocky Dell in Crestline at the corner of Lake Drive, across from the Shell station.
