With Snow Summit and Bear Mountain already open – and Snow Valley scheduled to open on Dec. 8 – the ski season has begun.

The torchlight procession – a tradition since 1964 – will ring in the New Year.
Season passes have been on sale, with prices going up on Dec. 8.
Santa will be at Snow Summit to take photos with boys and girls of all ages on Dec. 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Photos will be taken outdoors, weather permitting, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Guests will ring in the New Year at Snow Summit with a free live performance by Twin Fin followed by 300 skiers and snowboarders making their way down the slopes in a torchlight procession. Don’t miss this Big Bear tradition, which has been taking place since 1964.
