Folks were flocking to Kuffel Corner in Skyforest on Saturday, Nov. 30, to experience a European-style Christmas market right here on the mountain. An elf (1) greeted guests as they arrived. There were vendors with art, plants, sun catchers, fairy houses (2), honey, candles and books. The Bergheim Coffee Bar (3) out of Green Valley Lake drew a big crowd. While shopping, folks could enjoy a mug of glogg – mulled, spiced wine – or beer from Lake Arrrowhead Brewing Co. The vendors were located on both corners of Kuffel Canyon Road at Highway 18. The inaugural Winterfest was brought to life by Brown Bag Books, Littlebear Bottleshop and Evergreen Curated Goods.
