Taking a walk down memory lane

For Michael Brewer, sitting in the presence of retired Army Lt. Col Chuck Haeflinger, who was a Huey helicopter pilot in Vietnam, and Gloria Loring, actress and a member of the Bob Hope USO show, was a walk down nostalgia lane, as he too is a combat veteran of the Vietnam War. “I just sat enthralled with their conversational waltz of memories as Col. Chuck attended her USO show in 1971 in Vietnam,” Brewer said. Loring met Haeflinger at the Blue Jay parade and invited him to join her for lunch.
